Dr. Jeffrey W. Kosman, D.M.D.
Dr. Jeffrey Kosman was born in Lorain, Ohio. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Marquette University, dental degree from Case Western Reserve University with an honors certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Kosman completed his Oral and Maxillofacial training at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio where he also served as the Chief Resident in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is certified in BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and CPR.
Dr. Kosman belongs to the Lorain County Dental Society Board committee and served as its president in 2011. He is also a diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery; a fellow member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Ohio Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Society of Dental Anesthesia, American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Greater Cleveland Dental Society, and the Lorain County Dental Society.
Dr. Kosman has been in private practice in Sheffield Village, Ohio since 1996. He presently holds active staff privileges at Cleveland Clinic Lorain Campus, Elyria Memorial Hospital, Fairview Hospital, and Fairview Surgery Center in Sheffield Village, Ohio. Dr. Kosman holds a current Clinical faculty position at Case Western Reserve University. He has similarly been working as an adjunct instructor for Lorain County Community College’s Dental Hygiene School.
Interests outside the practice include golfing, playing basketball, and fishing. He also supports Comet Relays at Amherst Steele High School.
